It's always something. . . free

Yes, there is always a deal going, some kind of bait dangling out there, just wiggling around, trying to lure you into biting and indulging in some fun stamps and supplies. Right now we are saying goodbye to the 2016 catalog, and the new book will be live and orderable June 1st, so if there is anything on that retiring list that you still want, this is  the time to get up and bite the bait! Click here to see the retiring product list, much of the good stuff, like ink and re-inkers are long sold out, but much of the stamps are still available and still gorgeous!

I am looking around the stamp room and piling up retired products in prep for my garage sale and I've got a personal incentive for you: place an order with me during the last week of May and use this Hostess Code: X79UM44K and I'll pop a stack of 6" x 6" DSP in the mail (or in your hand). I've got oodles of "remainders" from all the Designer Series Paper that I have used for classes and projects during the last year or so, and when I trim it down it makes a nice stack. So when I split it up between the multitudes of customers who order over the next week, you should get a nice variety of paper! Any size order qualifies, online, in-person, email, phone, snail-mail, even if you subscribe to Paper Pumpkin, you qualify for a share of the DSP!

Speaking of -- there is a super duper deal going on Paper Pumpkin! New subscribers can get 25% off of a 3-month subscription right now https://www.paperpumpkin.com/en-us/sign-up/?demoid=106167 just click on that link and visit the site to learn all about it. If you have tried it in the past and aren't sure if you qualify as a "new subscriber" think about signing up someone you love, like your husband or your daughter and sharing the fun box of crafts with them every month! Or bring in the mail before they get home and if you don't share with them, who could blame you?
Be sure to put the code "STARTHERE" in the special box on the subscription page so you get the discount!

So you are still here? The awesome card shown today was our Technique Card at May Stamp Club. We started with a panel of foil, this one was the discontinued red foil, but gold or silver or bronze work great. Rub it with Stazon ink, then VersaMark ink, then sprinkle with embossing powder, heat set. Run it through the BigShot in an embossing folder. Then once more lightly rub Versa Mark ink, heat set and a final rub with Stazon ink. It sounds like a ton of work, but it sure looks awesome, right? This technique was featured in the SplitCoast Stampers newsletter recently, and almost all of the ladies at Stamp Club enjoyed making the card. LOL

Happy Stampin'
