Christmas Cards . . . as gifts

Don't forget to check out the Year End Clearance over at my online store, starts today and I expect some of the good stuff to sell out quickly!

I will get back to Christmas cards soon, but I want you to think like my friend Jenn for a minute. She and her buddies decided to "Give Handmade" to each other this year. The gift had to be totally made by the giver. A bit of a challenge for Jenn, so she called me and we designed a pack of all-occasion cards!
These three are half of the pack, and she made six sets of the cards, so this was a pretty ambitious project the ladies set up for themselves.

The top card was probably our most tricky. I didn't think it would be hard, just die cut the sentiment, remove it and sponge a rainbow of color on the negative space, right? And then glue the die cut sentiment back in, beautiful!
But then we wanted the little bits that go inside the letters to match -- the a and k and so forth. That was the only tricky part, sponging the color onto the tiny bits and keeping track of them, so bear that in mind if you decide to CASE this. It wasn't hard, just keep track of the tiny bits.

The second card uses a stamp set from Paper Pumpkin. Gorgeous leaves and sentiment.

Last shown here is Build a Birthday, so versatile and great for a guy or a gal. Love it!
We also decorated boxes for presentation, so a lovely Christmas present!

Happy Stamping!
