Christmas Card Club, first session

 Major surgery = major life event! So I got  new knee. Lots of people have surgery and that's a fact of life. But when it is MY life, it takes a lot more time and energy to deal with it! So next time, YOU have the event and I will just go on with my life and send you a dinner and a card.

Anyway, these cards are from the AUGUST Christmas Card Club. Realize that the ladies who are in the club made these cards and enjoyed the session as advertised -- on the scheduled date and we each made 12 cards, 3 designs x 4 of each. Only the internet was deprived of seeing them, as I had to move right along to other events, prepping and holding, while the old blog suffered in silence.

It can take a major mind shift to design and implement Christmas cards in August! Before the Holiday Catalog products are available and while the neighborhood pools are still open every day!

After searching Pinterest for inspiration, these three are the holiday cards we made. The Sheltering Tree stamp set is so versatile. Seriously, if you only have this set, you can make birthday, sympathy, christmas, thinking of you, Home Decor frames and more. This is a super versatile, beautiful set.

The second and third card were made to highlight a limited edition stamp set that was only available in August, sorry you missed it. But they are easily modified to work with any holiday sets you already have. Just select a cute small element, to sub for the pretty bell and a Script font holiday sentiment and you are all set!
