March Club Card #2

Sometimes simple is the best. If you think this card looks complex, let's take it apart and see how easy it really is! First, we arranged all the stamps on a large block or stamp placement tool. The easiest way is to lay the stamps down on a card front, you can play around with them to get a nice diagonal placement. Then pick them up with your block. Ink them all at one time with VersaMark ink, sprinkle on some clear embossing powder and heat with your heat gun. It gives you an "all over" effect but you can repeat it on multiple cards; if you used DSP there would be a limited amount available. Then check your work table for some scraps of DSP that kind of complement each other, trim to 1" strips and punch the banner end, adhere to your card front. Then we embossed an apropos sentiment to another scrap and trimmed it to be a banner; arrange a swirl of gold thread and adhere to your card. Then the black panel is adhered to a Lemon Lime Twist card. Simple and done, fast!

I am looking for one stamping friend to join me as a member of the Stampin' Up! family. If you have a sizeable wish list or need a fun money-making PT job, leave me a comment and I'll be happy to help you order the Stampin' Up! kit and show you the ropes! For just $99 you get to select any products up to $125 in value, then throw in 2 free stamp sets of any value, your choice -- and it ships free!  This offer is good only for March, then it goes back to normal (no free stamp sets). Let's do it!

Happy Stampin',
Dee Tollaksen
