Day Three

Fall weather has finally arrived here in Chicagoland. So it seems right to be planning Christmas cards, right? I'm so glad I partnered with my friends to bring you this series of Christmas projects! It is always nice to see another point of view, especially for me, so I can bring you fresh and fabulous inspiration!

Today is a card design, made by my friend Julie A. While it is stunning and looks fab, if you break it down, it was darn simple. And if you're making multiples, this is a great design! You can emboss a bunch of panels, then trim them down to the little rectangles! Keep that in mind when looking at step 2.

Listed below are the instructions and below that are the supplies. Just click on any supply and you will jump to my online store where you can stock up!

Happy Stampin,

1. Cut Silver Foil to 4 3/8 x 5 5/8" for the base. Attach glue dots to each back corner and attach to the top of the acetate box.
2. Cut 6 Whisper White pieces to 1 3/4" x 2" each.
3. Emboss 4 of the 6 Whisper White pieces with each of the 4 different embossing folders. Add dimensionals to the back of each and attach to the silver foil base.
4. Cut the larger snowflake using the Seasonal Layers dies, on a piece of Silver Foil. Attach to one of the plain Whisper White pieces with a glue dot. Add dimensionals and attach to the silver foil base.
5. Tie the mini tinsel trim around the last plain Whisper White piece, so it looks like a gift package. Add dimensionals and attach to the silver foil base.
6. Stamp with Memento Black ink on a scrap of Whisper White, the Merry & Bright saying from the Season to Sparkle stamp set. Punch out the saying with the larger of the 2 banners on the Duet Banner punch. Also punch 2 large banners from the Silver Foil.
7. For the Merry & Bright tag, trim the banner sides of each of the silver foil banners so the one used to layer at the top has the bottom points removed and the one used at the bottom layer, has the top points removed. Attach to the back of the white banner with Fast Fuse or Glue Dots. Add dimensionals and attach to the center of the white embossed pieces.
