Day Four

Halloween Party Hangover -- am I the only one? Oh boy! My friend/neighbor throws a costume party every year and since we can walk there - and home - we can throw caution to the wind. It was a "Circus" theme so we had to think hard to come up with a unique costume idea that would be cheap and comfortable. Any guesses?

So I am a day late posting my "12 Days of Christmas" inspiration, since I was busy whipping together costumes, but it should be worth the wait. This one is from my friend Dawn and she did a fancy-fold card for you. At the end of the post you will find the instructions and a product list. Just click on any of the pictures and you will jump right to my online store where you can toss all the supplies you need into your card and check out, easy peasy!

But before you go, remember that Oct 31 isn't just for trick-or-treats! Stampin' Up! has 2 great promotions ending Tuesday.

First is the Designer Paper sale, buy 3, get 1 free! This is a great time to grab the Holiday paper you love before the catalog period is over and stock up on some packs or stacks from the big catalog. Not every pack is included, so check here to see which of your faves is eligible.

Also, the free stamp set deal is wrapping up! Merry Patterns stamp set is a special reward for hostesses who place an order or workshop orders with a product total of $300 or more, closing by Oct. 31. It is getting scary close, so check in with me if you want this gift.  Not convinced about the set? Check out Pinterest, it is wildly popular, easy to use and tons of samples have been posted!

We used the deer stamps at Christmas Card Club this month, but there are many others in this set that make it lots of fun!

Enjoy the details from Dawn's card:

Merry Cafe Card Recipe:
1. Cut Garden Green Cardstock to 4.25" X 11". With 4.25" side at top, use Stampin' Trimmer to cut from 1" mark to 6.5" mark 1" from edge. Turn cardstock over and repeat again 1" from edge.

2. With 11" side of cardstock at top, score at 1" all the way across (this will intersect the start of the slit you cut in step one. Score at 2" only to each cut line (not the center section of card). Score only the center section at 5.5". At 6.5", score all the way across (again intersecting with the slit from step 1).
3. Fold all score lines the same direction, except for the two small lines at the 2" mark. Fold those small lines the opposite direction.
4. Create Coffee Cup from Merry Cafe and Coffee Cups framelits using Cherry Cobbler ink and Whisper White cardstock and Be Merry DSP. Adhere to piece of Garden Green DSP (2" X4.25") and layer on to Cherry Cobbler (2 1/8" X 4 3/8").
5. Add strips of DSP to each side (.75" X 4.25"). Stamp sentiment on Whisper White (.75" X 4") in Garden Green and embellish with trees and enamel shapes.
