October Stamp Club card two

We took an informal survey at the early session of Stamp Club this Wednesday, way more sons/husbands in our families. . . we really need to remember to make masculine cards!

This beauty was fashioned after a convention swap that my customers love. It had pretty paper, a ribbon on the button and a beautiful doily. And they challenged me to take the layout/design and make it great for guys. Thanks.  But no one even recognized the pretty card that inspired this and everyone loved this design. It looks complex but it was really pretty easy!

Just so you know, that blue blotch in the top left corner is what happens when 20 ladies handle the card to be able to copy it, and there are 10 ink pads on the table at any given moment, and the sample gets dropped into an open ink pad.

The lovely birch paper is hijacked from the Thankful Tablescape Simply Created Kit from Stampin' Up!  A great collection of autumn/Thanksgiving materials with 3 yards of birch paper--gorgeous!

Go make a card, it is World Cardmaking Day!
