Gettin' ready for Christmas

Oh what fun! The sentiment from Christmas Messages stamp set is going to see lots of use!

If you haven't ordered from the Stampin' Up! holiday catalog, this card just might be the incentive you need. I used the Circle Framelit to cut the main card and the DSP layered on the card. Then just a plain circle of Silver Glimmer paper. Do you see the Merry framelit across the face of the card? So delicate and beautiful.

These snowflakes are fab and easy. There is the Festive Flurry stamp set and the matching framelit dies that make stamping and cutting easy and gorgeous. To add dimension, I scored the small snowflake along every "spine" of the flake then trimmed a circle out of the center. Fan fold along each of the score lines (back and forth, alternating at every "spine" of the snowflake). Once everything is nice and bent and supple, heat up your glue gun or a patch of super sticky adhesive. . . grasp the snowflake with both hands, push everything toward the center and get it glued in place. I know that sounds sketchy, but once you have one in your hands, you'll see how easy it is.

Give me a call, schedule a class and I'll make it all perfectly clear!

Happy Stamping,
Dee Tollaksen
