No one ever says "no thanks, I don't want chocolate." They take it from you, they think things like, I'll save this yummy treat for sometime when I "need" some chocolate. . . while their hands move independently of their brain, to unwrap the pretty package, rip open the chocolate bar and bring the yummy treat right up to their mouth. Occasionally, the brain will realize what is happening but it is incapable of overpowering the hand which is in motion, nor the mouth which is opening wide to receive the chocolate. There are other gifts that people can resist eating, but not chocolate. You could try a candle or a calendar or some scented lotion, but chocolate in a bite-size portion is going right into their mouth! So the packaging better be pretty, since that is all that will be left!
