If you ever want to touch someone, directly, think about sending beautiful handmade cards to our deployed military members in Iraq and Afghanistan. The non-profit organization "From Our Hearts" has many Chaplains who love receiving boxes of cards. They then provide the blank cards to men and women serving in the armed forces. This allows the service men and women to write home on a beautiful card.
This week I spent two hours with the ladies auxiliary of St Cecelia Church in Mt Prospect, IL. We made about 150 cards in one fun evening. If you would like to host an evening of card making, just drop me a line and I'll help you organize and host.
