Animal Prints + Glitter = classic combo

What is today's date? I am so totally flummoxed! Days are flying by, one day it is hot and summer, another it is cool and autumn, then we will have three solid days of Noah-style hard rain flooding the town so nothing gets accomplished. And suddenly it is September 21st!

We had out-of-town visitors this weekend, my darling grandson is in from Arizona because so many young people are getting married. My son and DIL had two weddings to attend, splitting their time and letting the sweet baby visit both sets of grandparents. And another weekend flies by as if time has no respect for our need to soak up baby love and family hugs from children who live far away. Sigh.

So finally, here are the final cards from Stamp Club for September. We had a circle theme happening, by coincidence. As my planning was underway, I realized this was happening and I went with it. I figured I would show how versatile the circle framelits are and that many sentiments could be used with a circle shape.  The top card was offered with the butterfly or with leaves using Farmers Market DSP, allowing members to have a feminine or masculine style card.

The second card shown here was more sparkly with quite a bit of gold glimmer paper used. the front of the card is cut short and the DSP (designer series paper) is actually adhered INSIDE the card so it is showing  or peeking out. The top flowery paper is from English Garden pack and the bottom card is from the 6x6" paper stack Go Wild.

Roberta had just finished telling us that her son thinks she should stop wearing shirts with animal prints or glitter because of her age -- when I blithely suggest this card would be perfect as a masculine all-occasion card. She thought she could use it to send to him and tell him she was going to keep wearing what she likes to wear. LOL

Our next Stamp Club gathering is Wednesday October 7 at 1:00, 3:30 and 7:00. You are welcome to join us, just RSVP so I have cards prepped for you! Comment here or give me a shout!

There's nothing good on TV anyway, come on over and scrap tonight!

Are you reading this on Thursday? Perfect. Come on over tonight and learn how to use ProjectLife by Stampin' Up! to create pages for your scrapbooks. Slide your pictures in, add cards and embellishments, journal and move on. Zip a dee do da day. You can see that it is up to the user, how much or how little, how simple or how fancy, how many or how few.
Your books can be all pocket pages or a mix of pockets and layouts. Because if you like doing layout pages, no one is ever going to stop you from doing them. Me either. I like it! But it is sure fun to zip through a bunch of pictures in pages like this, that get pictures into books, that preserve memories and that mix the two kinds of scrapbooking into one big book.

And my colors all go together perfectly because they are all made by Stampin' Up! My products coordinate perfectly, and I can trust that the quality is impeccable.

Join me tonight at 7:00 to make a pocket page and a traditional layout for just $15 including plastic page protectors. Bring a few photos, just 8 or 10 from one event or subject. If they are still in your phone we can plan which ones will go in the layout and you can print them tomorrow.

Sorry, I can't get this picture to turn and orient itself correctly, poor Eric will be sideways forever.

If  you can't tear yourself away to join us tonight, plan to be here next month, Thursday October 8 at 7, same plan, two pages for $15.  If Thursdays don't work for you but you want to scrap together, leave me a little comment and we can schedule something at your convenience.

Happy Stamping!

3 day weekend, 80 degrees, 100% mojo -- must be perfect stampin' weather!

Sometimes the cuteness just takes over and tells you what to do. That might be what "mojo" is, creativity that is simple and easy and fun, leading you right to an awesome project that comes together just as you imagined it!

This banner or garland was that project. It popped into my head and just flowed right into existence. Stamp stamp stamp punch punch punch glue glue staple staple staple TA DA!! Cuteness!!

Clear your calendar and come on over to make one for yourself. Or pick a date, invite some friends and I'll bring the supplies and we'll make some at your house (or mine). OR order the stamp and framelits so you can make this and cards and treat bags any time you want!

This would be fun to do as a Mother/Daughter (or son) party or a small Scout meeting. Leave me a comment or shoot me an email, let's talk!

Tues Sep 29, 7:00 pm: Howl-o-ween Banner Class— Dress your door or mantel with this darling parade of Halloween friends. No matter what treats you choose to give away, this is a perfect way to treat your favorite costumed friends. $15

I have a ton of new stuff from the new Holiday Catalog and I'm thinking up classes and parties and events, so watch for emails and check out my calendar or just give me a call to hear what's new and book yourself a fun crafty event or 4 or 5!

Happy Stamping!
