Floating away in the Windy City

Here's a little whimsical eye candy for you. I know that's why you popped in! Two of the cards for March stamp club were silly fun cards and I should have shared them already. First is this CASE that is a take of from the move Up with the balloons floating away with the house. A cute card for a student off to college or a friend who has moved or left on a mission trip.

The second card is an Etch-a-sketch card. For more samples just google or check Pinterest, there are lots of stamp sets in use, but when I saw From the Herd in use, I finally broke down and pulled out my Real Red card stock. It is super easy and fun to make. I happen to have the Project Life framelits that are designed for cropping photographs, the 3"x5" is perfect for the opening, it gives the curved corners and cuts the opening in the red cardstock. If you don't happen to have the framelets, you can duplicate the idea on any paper cutter, but this makes it just a big step easier and a bit cuter.
Those big eyes staring right at you, like they are caught in the act are just so funny, and try to imagine someone creating the scene on an Etch-a-sketch!

Well, that's all for now, this insomniac has to try to catch some zzzzssss.

Sale-a-bration is nearly over, if you still want to grab some great deals, give me a buzzzz.....

Happy Stampin,
Dee Tollaksen
