Gift booklet
This darling little book is just PERFECT for gift cards, and it is made from just one sheet of 12 x 12 designer paper, so FABULOUS!! Of course it required the purchase of the bind-it-all machine from Zutter, but I know I will get lots of use of this new tool! Join me for a class and we can make one together!

Balancing Act
My darling daughter is a fully vested member of the electronic banking generation, so much so that she cannot be bothered with that pesky "checkbook register." Therefore she is struggling with that pesky "overdraft" risk. We devised a beautiful, glittery notebook that will hold her ATM card, and provide space for jotting down withdrawls in an effort to stay balanced!

Sparkle with glitter
If you are like me, glitter is a messy product that I use only upon the insistence of my daughter. But I saw a card that I really wanted to CASE, and here are the results. My customers are loving these fine glitters and the sticky cut letters in the SU catalog, the glitter sticks to the sticky strip and the embossing buddy keeps the work and the workspace clean. A little glitter on the complexion just makes everyone a little more glamorous. Give it a try!

Is there such a thing as a "typical" stamp camp?

Family day with the greyhound
Saturday, family day. When your family consists of teens and young adults, the definition of "family day" is greatly stretched. This weekend, my husband is at the National Restaurant show at McCormick Place. My daughter is working, my son is sleeping in, then race-mowing the yard before going to work. Leaving the dog and I to spend some quality time. . . I think I'll go downtown and track down my husband.

Graduation time
At this week's stamp camp we were celebrating and grieving: it is graduation time for so many of our children, and it is the end of one period of life, and the beginning of exciting new things. Here are a couple versions of the card we made. Can you see the custom stamp I had made, on the blue cards, it says BGHS, as in Buffalo Grove High School, Class of 2008. Stamped in versamark just over the ribbon.

Cold Feet
Blog Entry number 1: Why haven't I done this before? Cold Feet? Technology phobia? Yup. Let's just start here and see what develops!
